Closing thoughts for 2012...

MY CLOSING THOUGHTS FOR 2012: 2012 has been a year of CHANGE and POSITIONING, many people have experienced dramatic changes  in their lives this year, while others have worked hard to see dramatic change happen. Just know that ALL of your hard work will pay off in 2013. 2012 was the year of sowing and 2013 is the year to Reap. If you did not sow or position yourself  in 2012, dont expect  a return in 2013, but for those that did sow and position themselves , expect a harvest in a MASS abundance. This will be the year you STOP holding yourself back! This will be the year you break the chains of " Self imposed limitations"...2012 is where the road to lack ends. You don't have to wait to make a new years resolution, tell yourself " 2013 was a great year for me and I am already working on 2014!"  No more wishful thinking, just results... All you have to do is figure out the WHAT, and let GOD and the universe figure out the HOW. Live your vision in 2013, peace and blessings Tre aka X the Motivator.

Your mind is like fertile land

The only limitations placed on you are those that you impose on yourself. Your mind is like fertile land, it will grow whatever you plant. Its job is not to distinguish what to grow, but yet what to harvest. Feed your mind positivity and worthwhile goals and your harvest shall return as such, feed your mind negativity, fear & doubt and you will recieve that in just as much of an abundance as you would if you planted a positive seed. #Youreapwhatyousow

Born with a stamp of greatness

You were born on purpose for a purpose! Out of 150 racing sperm, YOU were the fastest, YOU were the smartest,YOU were the greatest...YOU were a leader, born with a stamp of greatness on you from conception. Its not about what you are going through, its not about what you have been through. What its about is where you are going from here. As long as you wake up to see another day it is another day to see your purpose and vision fulfilled.. You were born GREAT!

Be humble

A real leader has the ability to humble himself amongst the common people, because the leader himself was once a common person. You might be at the bottom, but you will always make it out on top.Humility is one of the greatest traits of a leader, stay  humble and watch your vision come to pass.You were born to be great!  #Haveagreatweekend

Open yourself to your purpose

Life has a funny way of orchestrating things, sometimes you may be in a certain place at a certain time and not know why. You may look at your surroundings or situation and say " This isn't me at all, what is going on?", Just know that EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON, and if you are open enough, your purpose for being anywhere at anytime will be shown to you. Remember, your life happend on purpose and it is up to you to put together the pieces and create your story. #Createyourlife

Emotions and Feelings

Emotions and feelings are some of the most powerful forces you will ever face in life, they drive actions and determine motives. NEVER  act out of emotions, as they are only TEMPORARY feelings. Learn to master your emotions so you can always make wise decisions and sound judgement. God gave man dominion over the earth not man. You may NEVER be able to control how others react but you will ALWAYS be able to control how YOU react. #Midweekwisdom

Face Yourself

Sometimes YOU can be your own worst enemy...Holding on to the past, judging yourself and how others view you... YOU can be so critical of yourself, that you can actually begin to make problems and circumstances  for yourself that do not even exsist, but you believe whats in your mind because its alot easier than blaming yourself ( OUCH), it may hurt but it is the truth. It is really wasy to blame people or situations for our circumstances, but is that really the case? Who's life is it, yours or someone elses? There are no double occupancy caskets.. Take full responsiblity for where you are right now and understand you are the driver of your life. FAITH takes the friction out of living...

They say FAITH is the oil that takes the friction out of living. Your current situation may be taking you on the ride of your life right now. You may not know what to do or where to turn, but it is in moments as these that you rely soley on your faith, and KNOW that your a child of the most high and that " This too shall pass". I strongly believe that God will sometimes let us feel overwhelmed and stressed out on purpose, just so we can break down and realize that the problems we face were not ours in the first place. Stop trying to take your problems hostage, and let them go. #Giveitup #staymotivated

Life Lessons

Learned a very valuable life lesson.. If you never ask, the answer will ALWAYS be NO!.. (to you and whatever you want). Your blessing will not always fall in your lap, sometimes God will make you get up and go get your blessing just to humble your heart and do away with pride. #Askanditwillbegiven

Be confident!

So today I was thinking about what my inspirational post of the day would be and while I was watching my morning motivational videos "Confidence" came up, so to whoever this may benefit I have some great words of advice for that person that needs to build confidence. 1. Stop comparing yourself to other people! This is probably one of the biggest "Confidence Crushers" in the world,God created you to be THE BEST AND ONLY YOU that ever lived. How can you leave your footprint on the world when you are stepping in someone elses? Be you, there is only one. 2. Stop beating yourself up over WORDS. Its never what someone says about you that kills your confidence, its what YOU tell yourself after they stop talking. Live the old saying " sticks and stones may break my bones but WORDS will never harm me". Remember, True confidence comes when you understand that there is only ONE you and you will ALWAYS be perfect at being yourself. You will always have an abundance of confidence because you will never have anyone to compare yourself to. #ItsThursday!

Like the bird...

I just saw something that made me think. It was a Bird in the middle of the street thay could not fly because its wing was broken. The bird was exposed to fast moving cars, people that could trample it and even worst the possibility of death becaue it could not get off the ground. This touched me because we as humans much like the bird were born to fly too. When we fly we can see our goals and where we want to be clearly making it much easier to reach our destination, but when we are down and our wings are broken we are open to the vicious attacks of life that if not handled correctly can lead to death. The great part to this story is there is only one place to go when your down and thats up. Fly high, stay motivated and know that your breakthrough is coming soon.

Discipline is essential. ...

All successful people posses one essential characteristic trait... DISCIPLINE.. You will never make it far without developing this trait. Discipline is so important because it trains our concious and subconscious minds to develop good or bad habits. A great philosopher once said " Its a misconception that rich,wealthy and extremely successful people dont have the same problems as someone that isnt successful, the difference is: Rich,wealthy and extremely successful people are willing to do what unsuccessful people aren't willing to do." Remember, if it doesnt kill you it makes you stronger. You might not want to now, but the reward in the end will be worth it. #LifeLessons

My Personal thoughts..

Iam sitting here watching Micheal Jacksons "Man in the mirror" and looking back on what ive learned in school, my life experiences and where i currently am in life to find out that I am so blessed. I mean I already knew I was blessed but Its like I uave a new perspective on the goodness of God.. Watching Micheal Jacksons video brought me to tears, to see how other people live and the struggles others must endure... How dare we complain about a damn thing... we can be such ungrateful creatures at times, but I can understand why our attitudes are the way they are. We were taught this behavior, they say the worlds understanding goes as far the the most intellegent person on earth, which then is extremely limited. All i have to say is, if you live in America, whether you were born here or came here IT IS YOUR DUTY to make something of yourself. You owe it to your ancestors that experienced the struggle of life when it was at its hardest so you didnt have to. Could you image what life would be like right now if our ansestors gave in and gave up? What If  slaves said " We will ACCEPT how life is for us and this is our Destiny" ? But this didnt happen, someone said "our current circumstance does not have to be our reality"... Someone said " This is not where the story ends, but where it begins"... Someone said " we will make ourselves as a pen in Gods hand and write a new chapter in the book of life". Some one spoke it and believed it! You owe it to them! Most importantly, you owe it to yourself. You owe it to yourself because God and Life gave you gifts, talents, dreams and visions that only you can bring to life. We are all here to leave our individual contributions to mankind. What will you leave behind... A legacy or a Bill?

Life is precious and you only get to live it once. When you wake up to see another day, it is another day for you to do what you didn't do yesterday, another day to try again and do better than you did yesterday because yesterday doesn't exist anymore! So when you find yourself feeling bad or in a negative state of mind, imagine accomplishing a major life goal and celebrate it like it already happened, I guarantee your state of mind will change!

Forget believing...

The Power Of Imagaination and Vision

Did you know that one of the greatest gifts God ever gave man was the ability to Imagine? Imagination can literally take you from a place of negativity and doubt to a place of euphoria and success.Most people don't realize the true power of imagination and vision. When you create a circumstance in your mind that is different than the one you currently in, you alter your current circumstance and placed yourself in a new one, very simple. Now I know your saying, well if it was that easy why would anyone ever be in  a unfavorable circumstance?

Easy, because most people see the big picture but miss the process that it takes to get to the big picture. Most of us are willing to get something for nothing if we could and for this reason, is why we can have a vision and not do what it takes to obtain the vision. The moment you saw yourself in a situation other than the one you are in, was the same moment that you created a new reality for yourself. See, when we imagine we see that nice car, big house and happy relationship and if it is vivid enough we can almost experience the actual feelings of really having it! I am here to tell you that you already had it the moment you thought of it, it was yours!

Most people tend to forget that our subconscious mind does not know the difference between something that really happened and something that is just taking place in our mind, it just knows the feelings and emotions attached certain experiences, So in your mind it's all real! So if you've already imagined it, now all your job is to do is to make your imagination physical and tangible.

 How do you do that you ask? By working in a state of absolute certainty and "KNOWING", and  that what you imagined or envisioned is in fact real and will happen. You can manifest change by simply thinking it.

You were made for greatness!

 During my morning study I focused on the power of Ambition and personal development and I would like to give you my thoughts and morning inspiration.  A quote from will smith says  " Being realistic is the common road to mediocrity." I say, if you have a dream GO FOR IT, don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it or that it isn't possible. Most people are scared to do things themselves so they try to discourage you from doing it. Stop engaging in "wishful" thinking and start taking control of your destiny by doing something about it. Only you can write the story of your life, how will others tell it?

See you have you have to get to a point of clarity and purpose to really define who you are as a person. Understanding who you are and what you believe are two of the most pressing foundations of your success in life. You are more than where you are in life, you deserve more. We all have a superior level of greatness within us, it just normally goes untapped because we let others opinions of us become our reality. Our greatness is often time suppressed so much to the point to where we believe that working for someone else for the rest of our lives is acceptable, when in essence,we were designed to be wealthy and prosperous, with our own purposes and contribution to the world. Before the creator made you, you had a purpose. Nothing is ever made before there is a reason for it's use. Find your purpose and then find yourself. You were made for greatness.

Chase the heart of your dream

The inspiration and message of today's blog is to encourage you to " Chase the heart of your dream". During my daily morning ritual this morning all I could do is thank God and show gratitude for where I am in life right now. I am physically, mentally and spiritually rejuvenated and ready more than ever to pursue my dreams, But,it took time for me to get to this point. In order to achieve self achievement and personal success you must first know what you want out of life, you have to recognize your dream and go for it! Once you know what you want out of life you can then focus your energy doing what It takes to achieve your dream. Just remember personal development comes before professional success! It is imperative to become mentally, spiritually and physically strong when pursuing a dream because people will challenge your dream on every level, but if YOU chase after the heart of your dream everything you want and more will be given to you.

 See, when you chase after the "heart"of a dream, you are chasing the " essence " of the very thing that makes that dream possible. This means you are willing to do any and everything to see that this dream comes true. A lot of people fail at achieving their dreams because they don't chase the "Heart" of the dream, but yet chase after the superficial things that come with chasing the heart of the dream like money and fame, but going after these things will only bring temporary satisfaction, which, normally doesn't last very long. Now some people's dream is to have a lot of money, but this is superficial and not a dream but more of a want. Most people dream of an abundance of money because of the happiness they believe money can bring, but money alone doesn't bring true happiness. A dream is something that brings on a greater sense of self fulfillment and personal achievement than money or any materialistic possession can bring , because of a deeper human desire to want more in life than material things. So I will say this, when you do find out what your TRUE DREAM is pursue it relentlessly, and don't give up until you see your dream happen, because only YOU can make your dream happen. No one can love and cherish your dream more than you can because it is apart of you and fulfilling your dreams will bring on a great sense of accomplishment, self worth and joy in life. Chase after the heart of your dream with resilience, courage and unwavering faith and all things you want in life will come to you.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I started this blog because of a need to share with people inspiration, insight and motivation. I am here to tell you that "YOU CAN DO IT"!.. That statement is pretty vague I know and most people know they can do it but lack the motivation and drive "TO DO IT". Sometimes life has it's way of bringing us so low to the point to where we feel helpless, but I will tell you once again "YOU CAN DO IT!"... Your current circumstances do not have to be your reality. We sometimes get so stuck on feeling sorry for ourselves that that we stop progressing in life and never realize until its too late. But I am here to tell you once again, YOU CAN DO IT!

 It took me a while to get to this point in my life, but when I finally " GOT IT", everything started to click. See what I realized was that, no one was responsible for my current circumstances EXCEPT FOR ME, my current circumstances and where I was in life was all because of the choices I had made in life. It was only until I got myself to this point, that I could truly see that I needed to change myself. See most people have to hit " ROCK BOTTOM" before they can get to this point, and I did. But when I made it up in my mind to change, it was a great feeling for true change starts in the heart.

One of the first and most powerful lessons I learned in changing yourself is understanding that " IT"S YOU!", no one else, nothing else... Just you... No ones opinions of you matter, your situation doesn't matter, just what you do from here is what matters. You MUST understand that you are NOT less than anyone you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to! Most times when a person can't do something themselves they try to tell you that you can't do it, But I will tell you this " IF YOU HAVE A DREAM, PROTECT IT!" IF YOU WANT SOMETHING IN LIFE GO GET IT, PERIOD.

You were born with purpose and vision before the creator created you...

While I was going through my morning study I found some very powerful knowledge I wanted to share with you guys.. One of the most powerful gifts that God has ever given a man wasn't the ability to see, but the ability to have vision. Vision is very powerful because " Vision" goes where your eyes can't. Your sight is limited, but your vision can go as far as the boundaries of your imagination. for sight is a function of the eyes, but vision is a function of the heart. Go after what God has in your heart, forget what everyone else says. If you can believe it, you can achieve it. These are just some of the insights given by Dr. Myles Monroe, great speaker and philosopher.


I can relate to his teachings so much because we as people limit ourselves so much based on what we can physically see.. Imagine being blind, how different would your life be? See, our eyes are the windows to how we perceive things and most 80% of the way we interpret life is based on what we see through our eyes. Imagine what the world would be like if people acted on the vision inside of them instead of the how they physically seen the world. The problem is, most people don't understand the difference between, vision and sight. My interpretation of vision and sight is very simple " sight is what you THINK is possible, and vision is what you KNOW is possible", but we as a people have gotten it mixed up. We live by sight because, sight is certain,measurable and practical. Have you ever been in a situation where you couldn't "SEE" how a certain situation was going to be resolve and asked someone for advice? More than likely the conversation went something like this: " Just have faith and believe that things will get better and  GOD will make a way", sound familiar? Sure it does, but I have a question, aren't both God, Faith and Belief absent in sight?

 The bible says that " Faith is the substance of things unseen and all things hoped for"... meaning your eyes cannot see faith, but you know if you have enough of it, it will get you through.. This same concept applies to living life through your VISION and not your SIGHT, but the problem is that most people don't believe in themselves enough to see what their vision is, so now they live a unfulfilled life based on their biased outlook on the world and not by the vision that is in there hearts. See EVERYONE has a vision and purpose, you were born with it. Actually, you were born with purpose and vision before the creator created you. Food for thought ,Think about this... Whenever a person or company comes up with an idea to invent something or create a new product, The purpose and reason for the product is established first before it is ever even produced. It's value and usefulness to the world is determined before it is released. See the creator gave you purpose, value, reason and usefulness before you were brought on to this earth. Your birth was the creator putting out his "Product" to the world, and the wonderful part is " The creator is unique,in that, all of his creations are a one of a kind, one never the same as another... for all of his products serve a different purpose and have different value to the consumer."... Just call yourself, a "Product of God", made from the source.

You're gonna make it!

There is NOTHING more powerful than a person with a made up mind! Your life successes and failures all depend on it. What you make up in your mind WILL become your reality! If your mind is focused and determined to make it in whatever you want, that is it! It is done and written in the book " YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT!" I PROMISE THAT.

Introduction to the new me...

Why I changed my Life...

People tell me that “ I need to get my life together” and when  I tell them I am “ getting my life together” they want to throw up how “bad” my life has been and all of the poor choices I have made. Does this sound familiar to you? 

On Sunday October 7^th , 2012 I made a commitment to change my life and never look back. I spoke with a good friend of mine who gave me some very influential speakers to listen to and told me that their teachings could “change my life”. I was at a point in my life where it seemed like I was in a never ending cycle of bad choices and failure. It seemed like any and everything I did never worked, my family was split up and worst of all I felt “ Stuck”, I felt like I was at rock bottom, however, when I began to indulge my self in the teachings of these motivational speakers and life coaches, I began to realize things about myself, I began to uncover some of my deepest hurts and deal with them. I began to understand that, I was where I was in life “ Because of me”. This of course was a hard pill to swallow because I had went so long making other people and situations the blame for why I wasn’t where I needed to be in life. I did this for so long that my life had LITERALLY become a living manifestation of my self pitty, again, a hard pill to swallow but when you want to do better you have to realize these things. I had come to understand that I could no longer wallow in my own fears and doubts of myself, I had to make a “concious” change before I could make a physical change. My wife and kids depended on it. They say nothing is more powerful than a made up mind, and my mind is made up “ NO MORE”, I deserve better than this! I am better than this! And I will make it!.. My family had lost faith in me because “ They’ve heard this story” time and time before” , what could possibley envoke “TRUE” change this time? Why should we believe you?..which brings me to “ WHY” my change is true and “WHY” I am going to make it this time:

First and foremost ,I know my change is true because I am out of the business of pleasing others and letting their opinions of me dictate my reality. I understand the importance of doing it for “ ME” and not because of some false expectation of others. I understood this when I took responsibility of MY OWN ACTIONS. I know that my change is true, because I confess it with my heart and not just my mouth. People say “ well you just can’t change overnight”, well I say you can change in a matter of minutes, People who experienced  hurricane Katrina had to “ change” in the blink of an eye, no warning, just change. When a person changes there are no bells and whistles or a cheering crowd to let you know that they’ve changed, that comes when you see the blessings of the change, but in the beginning, it is a lot of hard work on that persons  personal growth and development and their mental .They must change themselves from the inside out ,before you ever see any results from the change. You will see small progressive changes until eventually, that person has done a whole 360! But It starts in the mind first, an outsider looking in would never understand this process unless he himself is a product of positive personal change.People have this negative notion that when someone changes it’s supposed to be this “DRASTIC and DRAMATIC” manifestation like in the movies or on TV, but let me tell you this,  unless the change is forced and the person has no other choice ( like that of hurricane Katrina), then change is a progressive process. But if the change is voluntary and the person is making the change for themselves, the only way you can truly know is by their actions and the fact that they told you, that’s all you get. And even actions are difficult given their “ Immediate circumstance”. Just because someone decides to change their life today doesn’t mean they will have a house, car and job by tomorrow. We are still governed by the laws of LIFE, the only difference is we  now have a different perspective on life, we are now in a state of belief and not disbelief.We believe that it is possible now and we can now work towards getting out of your mess. I can sit down an soak up knowledge all day from great motivational leaders and coaches, but one thing that is taught across the board is “ WHY?”, why do you want to change?  What will ensure you that if you get “ stuck” again, that your whole life won’t just end up the same way? What will keep you pushing no matter how hard it gets?Because if your Why is strong enough you will surely make it.

My why is very simple, “ to improve the quality of life for me,my family and others”. I am doing it because I sat and listened to a group of older people say that “MY” generation was never going to amount to anything because we had no “ VALUE”.. I am doing this because I know what It is like to have lots of gifts and talents and still not be anywhere in life.. I am doing this because I tried to commit suicide and It didn’t work, apparently I have a purpose…I know what it is like to stand in front of the mirror in a mental health facility and tell yourself “ I Love myself” and you just tried taking your own life.. I am doing it because I have a beautiful wife and kids and when I look at them I see a group of people that really need me.. I am doing it because I have little girls that love me.. I am doing it for my unborn child.. I am doing it for every person that has been told that they can’t do it, but has a heart to do better but doesn’t know how.. I am doing it because my faily deserves more than this life can give them.. I am doing this for me.. So if anyone ask me“Why”, I will respond with “ Why not?”. God has a plan for my life and that has been confirmed to me my whole life, through my mother and complete strangers. I am destined for greatness, and I am gonna make it. I am a leader and a powerful man of God, and when God is finished with me, everyone will look at me and say “ Wow,He was serious”, and I will smile and respond “  I’ve just gotten started, for eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the greatness that is yet to come”.
